Researchers from Professor Joshi group at University of California, Los Angeles confirms total orbital angular momentum conservation. Pump beam with known spin and orbital angular momentum was used and the helical phase of the second harmonic radiation generated was measured using PHASICS SID4-HR  wavefront sensor to observe interplay between spin and orbital angular momentum.
