Pushing optical systems alignment with SID4 wavefront sensors
We experience the benefits of classical computing every day. However, to stand a chance at solving some of the most complex problems, we need a new kind of computing. Wavefront measurement
Quantum computers based on ion or neutral-atom trapping require the implementation of complex optical systems. Precise knowledge of wavefront curvature and, beam parameters as well as spatial phase and intensity profiles is critical to guarantee a better control of the process.
Optical system alignment
Fine alignment is crucial in quantum computing optical systems. The access to real time wavefront and intensity measurements and live information about the laser beam alignment (tilts, waist size and position) is possible using the Phasics SID4 wavefront sensors.
